One of the most effective ways to find a reliable manufacturer is to attend one of the Chinese trade fairs and exhibitions. Hundreds of them are happening around the country all year round. Exhibitions receive a lot of government support. Most of them are organized and sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce or the China Chamber of International Commerce. If you are having a difficult time choosing the right exhibition to attend, this article is for you.  

Canton Fair

One of the most popular trade fairs is Canton Fair, which takes place in Guangzhou city twice per year. The official name is China Import and Export Fair. Every spring and autumn more than two hundred thousand buyers from all over the world visit Guangzhou to attend this exhibition. Canton fair is divided into 3 phases: every type of industrial product from electronics to automobiles in Phase 1, consumer goods and gifts in Phase 2, and clothing, medicines, and recreational products in Phase 3.

East-China Import and Export Commodity Fair

Another trade fair worth visiting is East-China Import and Export Commodity Fair. It takes place in Shanghai every year in March and features clothes, textile, and other consumer goods. 8 eastern Chinese provinces sponsor this event, which attracts buyers from over a hundred countries every year. ECF offers a powerful trade platform for everyone coming and pursuing efficient business opportunities.

China Yiwu International Commodities Fair

Since its foundation in 1995, Yiwu Fair has become one of the largest, most influential, and productive commodities fairs in China. The exhibiting range covers hardware, clothing and shoes, electronic and electrical appliances, pet products, toys, and many others. There are rumors that 60% of all Christmas ornaments in the world are made in Yiwu. The trade show takes place in Zhejiang province every year in October, but Yiwu market works all year round.

China Bauma Fair

China Bauma Fair is the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, and Construction Vehicles, which takes place in Shanghai every two years. It is the leading trade fair for the entire construction and building-material machine industry in China and all of Asia. Bauma features every type of construction equipment and is called the most important exhibition in the industry.

China Electronics Fair

China Electronics Fair (CEF) is the largest exhibition of the electronics and ICT industry in China. It takes place in Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Shanghai three times per year. This is a fair to visit if you want to get more information about the latest trends, ideas, and technical developments in electronics. In addition, all visitors can attend a wide range of lectures and seminars. The exhibiting range covers electric cars, computer equipment, electronic components, and mechanical engineering products.

Hong Kong Jewelry & Gem Fair

Hong Kong Jewelry and Gem Fair is the most brilliant exhibition on this list. Host city Hong Kong thrives on free trade and its excellent infrastructure. The city is one of the major jewelry trading hubs in Asia Pacific, and its strategic location in the region makes it very accessible. The Fair is the ideal mid-year marketplace to showcase products to the world. It attracted over 26,000 local and overseas unique buyers every year. The exhibiting range covers diamonds, precious stones, pearls, fine minerals, precious metals, and all kinds of jewelry.
